Ingredients
Scale
Potatoes:
- 2 large russet potatoes, peeled (optional) and cut into thin fries
Seasoning:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Extra Parmesan for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare Potatoes: Place cut fries in a large bowl of cold water and soak for 20–30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat completely dry with paper towels.
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Toss Potatoes: In a clean bowl, toss the dried fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
- Air Fry: Arrange fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 15–20 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Add Seasonings: While still hot, toss fries with Parmesan cheese and parsley, if using.
- Serve: Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce or a squeeze of lemon.
Notes
- Soaking the potatoes helps achieve extra crispiness.
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne or smoked paprika.
- These are best enjoyed fresh from the air fryer.
