Description

These Air Fryer Sliders are juicy, flavorful mini burgers cooked to perfection in your air fryer. Seasoned ground beef patties are topped with melted American cheese and served on buttery toasted slider buns with a tangy homemade sauce. Ready in just 11 minutes, this recipe is ideal for easy entertaining or a quick meal.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Beef Patties

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 slices deli style American cheese
  • 8 slider buns
  • 2-3 tablespoons butter

For the Sauce

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the beef mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, optional liquid smoke, seasoned salt, and garlic powder. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the meat.
  2. Form and cook patties: Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions and shape into flat slider-sized patties. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Place the patties in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  3. Add cheese and toast buns: Cut the American cheese slices in half and place them over each patty. Return to the air fryer just long enough to melt the cheese. While the cheese melts, spread butter on the slider buns and toast them in a skillet or air fryer until golden and slightly crisp.
  4. Make the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and white vinegar until smooth. Season with garlic salt and chili powder to your preferred taste.
  5. Assemble sliders: Spread the prepared sauce on the bottom halves of the toasted buns. Place each cheesy burger patty on top, then cover with the top bun. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious air fryer sliders!

Notes

  • Liquid smoke enhances the smoky flavor but is optional if you prefer milder taste.
  • You can adjust the seasoning to suit your taste, adding more or less chili powder and garlic salt.
  • If your air fryer basket is small, cook the patties in batches to avoid overcrowding and ensure even cooking.
  • For extra crisp buns, toast them in the air fryer after removing the patties for about 2-3 minutes at 350°F.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheated gently in the air fryer or microwave.
