- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup milk

Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Mix cinnamon sugar: In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Prepare apples: Toss the chopped apples with 1–2 teaspoons of the brown sugar mixture.
- Cream butter and sugar: Cream together the butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla: Beat in the eggs and vanilla until well combined.
- Combine dry ingredients: Whisk together the flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.
- Combine wet and dry: Add the dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture alternately.
- Layer batter: Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan, layer with apples and cinnamon-sugar. Repeat layers.
- Bake: Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool and glaze: Cool in the pan, then drizzle with glaze if desired.
