Description

These Big Mac Wraps are a delicious and convenient twist on the classic fast-food favorite. Combining seasoned ground beef, fresh lettuce, cheddar cheese, and dill pickles wrapped in a soft flour tortilla with a tangy homemade Big Mac-style sauce, they provide all the iconic flavors of a Big Mac in a handheld wrap form. Perfect for a quick lunch or casual dinner, these wraps deliver a flavorful, satisfying meal in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Wraps

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely diced onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped dill pickles
  • 1/2 cup Big Mac-style sauce (see below)

For the Big Mac-Style Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons relish
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef along with salt and black pepper. Cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until fully browned and no pink remains, about 6 to 8 minutes. Drain any excess fat if necessary to keep the wrap from being greasy.
  2. Prepare the Big Mac Sauce: While the beef is cooking, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, relish, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika in a small bowl. Whisk together until the mixture is smooth and uniform in flavor.
  3. Warm the Tortillas: Heat the flour tortillas briefly in a skillet or microwave until they are soft and pliable, making them easier to roll without cracking.
  4. Assemble the Wraps: Lay each warm tortilla flat and spread 1 to 2 tablespoons of the Big Mac sauce along the center. Add about one-quarter of the cooked ground beef evenly over the sauce. Top with shredded lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, finely diced onion, and chopped dill pickles. If desired, drizzle a little extra sauce over the top for added flavor.
  5. Roll and Serve: Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then tightly roll it up from the bottom to form a neat wrap. Slice each wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • For a low-carb option, substitute the flour tortillas with low-carb wraps or use large lettuce leaves as the wrap base.
  • Ground turkey or plant-based crumble alternatives can be used instead of ground beef for a different protein choice.
  • The Big Mac-style sauce can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, making meal prep easier.
