Ingredients

Scale

Pasta:

  • 12 oz penne pasta

Cheeseburger Sauce:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta: Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. Cook Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until browned. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
  3. Make Cheese Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add cheddar and Parmesan cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth. Mix in ketchup and mustard for a cheeseburger flavor boost.
  4. Combine and Serve: Return beef to skillet and stir to combine. Add cooked pasta and toss until coated in sauce. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra cheesiness, sprinkle shredded cheddar over the top and broil for 2–3 minutes before serving.
  • You can also swap ground beef for ground turkey or chicken.
