Garlic Butter

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (plus extra for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the oven and chicken mixture: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a bowl, combine shredded chicken with Alfredo sauce, salt, and black pepper, mixing well to create a creamy filling.
  2. Prepare the sub rolls: Slice the sub rolls lengthwise, being careful not to cut all the way through, and gently hollow out some of the bread from the centers to make space for the filling.
  3. Make the garlic butter and brush the rolls: In a small bowl, stir together melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Brush the inside and the tops of each sub roll generously with this garlic butter mixture.
  4. Assemble the subs: Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture evenly into each roll. Top the filling with shredded mozzarella and a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake the subs: Place the stuffed subs on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper. Bake in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and the bread is golden and crispy.
