Frozen Mango Yogurt Pops Ingredients
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat recommended)
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Blend Mangoes: Place the chopped ripe mangoes into a blender and blend until completely smooth, ensuring there are no lumps.
- Add Remaining Ingredients: Add the plain Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and a pinch of salt to the mango puree. Blend again until all ingredients are fully combined into a smooth mixture.
- Fill Molds: Pour the mango yogurt mixture into popsicle molds, making sure to leave some space at the top to allow for expansion during freezing.
- Insert Sticks and Freeze: Insert popsicle sticks into each mold and place them in the freezer. Freeze the popsicles for at least 4 hours, or until completely solid.
- Unmold Popsicles: To remove the popsicles from the molds, briefly run warm water over the outside of the molds to loosen them. Gently pull out the popsicles and enjoy.
Notes
- Use ripe mangoes for the sweetest and most flavorful pops.
- Full-fat Greek yogurt gives the creamiest texture but low-fat can be used as an alternative.
- Adjust sweetness with honey or maple syrup according to taste or dietary preference.
- Make sure to leave space in molds for mixture expansion to prevent overflow or cracking.
- These popsicles are best enjoyed within one week of freezing for optimal taste and texture.
- For a vegan option, substitute Greek yogurt with coconut yogurt and use maple syrup as the sweetener.
