Description

A delicious and satisfying recipe combining tender garlic butter steak bites with cheesy Alfredo twists pasta. This dish features bite-sized steak pieces cooked to perfection, tossed with a creamy homemade Alfredo sauce, and topped with melted mozzarella cheese, making it a perfect comfort food for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Steak Bites

  • 1 lb steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Cheesy Alfredo Twists

  • 12 oz pasta twists (rotini or cavatappi)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well and set aside.
  2. Cook the Steak: Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak pieces with salt and black pepper. Add to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the steak is browned and cooked to your liking. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and add grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Stir continuously until the sauce becomes smooth, creamy, and well combined.
  4. Combine Pasta and Steak: Add the cooked pasta and steak back into the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss everything together carefully so the pasta and steak are evenly coated in the sauce.
  5. Add Cheese: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the mixture and allow it to melt slightly in the skillet before serving.

Notes

  • Use a high-quality Parmesan for a richer Alfredo sauce flavor.
  • Steak can be substituted with chicken or shrimp as preferred.
  • For a lower-fat option, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a lighter cream alternative.
  • Make sure not to overcook the pasta to preserve the twist shape and texture.
  • Serve immediately for best taste and texture.
