Ingredients
Scale
Steak and Vegetables
- 2 strip steaks, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil or olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 large zucchini, cut into smaller pieces
- 10 oz grape tomatoes, halved
Tortellini and Sauce
- 1 (19 oz) bag frozen cheese tortellini
- ¼ – ½ cup water
- ¼ cup Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce
- Heath Riles’ Garlic Butter Seasoning, to taste
- Shredded Parmesan cheese, for garnish
Instructions
- Prep Ingredients: Cut the strip steaks and zucchini into bite-sized pieces, and slice the onion into thin slices to prepare for cooking.
- Cook on Griddle: Heat a griddle over medium heat and add the avocado or olive oil. Place the steak cubes, sliced onion, zucchini pieces, and grape tomatoes on the griddle. Season everything generously with Heath Riles’ Garlic Butter Seasoning to impart rich flavor.
- Cook Tortellini: Add the frozen cheese tortellini to the griddle. Pour in ¼ to ½ cup of water, then cover the tortellini with a griddle dome or lid to trap steam. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the tortellini is tender and heated through.
- Toss with Sauce: Stir in ¼ cup of Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce to coat the tortellini thoroughly. Once the tortellini is well mixed with the sauce, remove it from the griddle to prevent overcooking.
- Finish and Serve: Continue cooking the steak and vegetables on the griddle until they reach your preferred level of doneness. To serve, top the cooked tortellini with the grilled steak and vegetables. Garnish generously with shredded Parmesan cheese and serve immediately for a comforting and flavorful meal.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of water when cooking tortellini to avoid sogginess or dryness.
- Use a griddle dome or tight-fitting lid to ensure the tortellini cooks evenly with steam.
- Season steak and vegetables to taste with garlic butter seasoning for best flavor balance.
- Tortellini can be substituted with fresh pasta for a different texture.
- For a lower-fat version, use olive oil and reduce the amount of cheese garnish.
- Ensure steak is cooked to a safe temperature, at least medium doneness recommended.
