Ingredients
Scale
Beef Patties
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Wraps
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1/2 cup tomato, diced
- 1/4 cup pickles, sliced
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 1 tablespoon butter (for grilling)
Instructions
- Prepare the Burger Patties: In a bowl, combine ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until all ingredients are incorporated, then form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Cook the Patties: Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until they are fully cooked through and have a nice sear on the outside.
- Add Cheese to Patties: Once the patties are cooked, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Allow the cheese to melt while the patties are still warm, either by covering the skillet or leaving them on the grill briefly.
- Assemble the Wraps: Lay a tortilla flat and place a cheeseburger patty in the center. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, sliced pickles, ketchup, and mustard according to taste.
- Roll the Wraps: Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll it tightly from one end to the other to encase the fillings securely.
- Grill the Wraps: Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place each wrap seam-side down in the skillet and grill for 2-3 minutes per side until the tortilla is golden brown and crispy.
- Serve: Remove the wraps from the skillet, cut each in half diagonally, and serve warm.
Notes
- Use ground beef with around 20% fat content for juicier patties.
- Feel free to substitute cheddar with your favorite cheese such as American or pepper jack.
- Ensure the wraps are tightly rolled before grilling to prevent fillings from spilling out.
- Butter helps crisp the tortilla; alternatively, use a light spray of oil if preferred.
- Serve immediately after grilling for best texture and flavor.
