Description

A refreshing and vibrant Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade combining chilled green tea, sweet peach juice, and tangy lemonade, perfect for a cooling summer beverage with optional natural sweeteners.

Ingredients

Scale

Tea Base

  • 1 cup (240 ml) water, for steeping green tea
  • 1 green tea bag, high-quality loose leaf or tea bag

Beverage Mix

  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) peach juice
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) lemonade
  • 1 handful ice cubes (about 46 cubes), filtered water or infused

Sweeteners (Optional)

  • Honey (for non-vegan)
  • Agave syrup (vegan alternative)

Instructions

  1. Steep the Green Tea: Bring 1 cup (240 ml) of water to a boil, then pour it over one green tea bag in a cup or teapot. Steep for exactly 3 minutes to extract the flavors and caffeine without bitterness.
  2. Cool the Tea: Remove the tea bag and let the green tea cool to room temperature. After it cools, place it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to chill thoroughly.
  3. Prepare the Glass: Fill a tall glass to the brim with a handful of ice cubes (approximately 4-6 cubes). Adding ice two minutes before pouring helps keep your drink icy cold longer.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Pour the chilled green tea, 1/2 cup (120 ml) peach juice, and 1/2 cup (120 ml) lemonade over the ice in the glass. Stir gently to blend all the flavors together.
  5. Adjust Sweetness and Flavor: Taste your beverage and if you prefer a sweeter drink, add honey or agave syrup to your liking, stirring well until dissolved. If the drink becomes too sweet, balance it with about 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of fresh lemon juice for added tartness.

  • Adjust sweetness with honey or agave syrup to suit dietary preferences.
