Instructions
- Prepare the pan: Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray to prevent sticking and set aside.
- Melt butter and marshmallows: In a large pot over medium heat, melt 4 tablespoons of salted butter. Once melted, add the entire 10-ounce bag of marshmallows and stir constantly until fully melted and smooth. Stir in 1/8 teaspoon of salt to enhance flavor.
- Add cereal and mix-ins: Remove the pot from heat. Fold in 6 cups of Rice Krispie cereal until evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture. Then, gently stir in 1 cup of plain M&M’s and 1 cup of mini marshmallows to distribute them throughout the mixture.
- Press into pan and add toppings: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Using a greased spatula, gently press the mixture evenly into the pan without compacting too much. Sprinkle generously with colorful sprinkles on top for a festive finish.
- Cool and serve: Allow the treats to cool completely at room temperature to set. Once firm, cut into 12 squares and serve.
