These Marry Me Cookies are the perfect combination of chewy and crunchy, with a delightful mix of white and semisweet chocolate chips, nuts, and dried cranberries. They are sure to win over anyone’s heart with their delicious flavors.

Ingredients

Scale

Cookie Dough:

  • 1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (220 g) packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3 cups (360 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Mix-Ins:

  • 1 cup (170 g) white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (170 g) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (120 g) chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 cup (150 g) dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugars: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Add mix-ins: Fold in the white chocolate chips, semisweet chocolate chips, chopped nuts, and dried cranberries.
  7. Bake: Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets and bake for 10–12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Cool: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For chewier cookies, slightly underbake them and let them finish setting on the baking sheet.
  • You can substitute macadamia nuts for the pecans or walnuts for a richer flavor, or swap the cranberries for dried cherries.
