No-Bake Lasagna Layer
- 1 package of no-bake lasagna noodles
Cheesecake Mixture
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups whipped topping
Pecan Pie Syrup Mixture
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Optional Topping
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Noodles: Prepare the no-bake lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then set them aside to cool completely.
- Make Cheesecake Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped topping until well combined and creamy. Set aside.
- Cook Pecan Syrup: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add brown sugar, corn syrup, cinnamon, and salt. Stir continuously and let the mixture simmer gently for 3-5 minutes until the sugar dissolves and the syrup thickens slightly.
- Add Pecans: Stir in the chopped pecans, coating them well with the syrup. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, then remove the saucepan from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly.
- Assemble Layers: Spread a thin layer of the cheesecake mixture evenly on the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish. Lay a layer of no-bake lasagna noodles over the cheesecake mixture. Then, spread a layer of the pecan syrup mixture on top of the noodles.
- Repeat Layers: Continue layering by repeating the cheesecake mixture, noodles, and pecan mixture layers, finishing with the remaining cheesecake mixture spread on top.
- Chill: Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate the lasagna for at least 4 hours or overnight. This chilling time allows the layers to set and flavors to meld beautifully.
- Add Topping and Serve: Before serving, sprinkle the top with chocolate chips if desired for added flavor and texture. Slice into portions and serve chilled.
