Cauliflower Steaks
- 1 large head of cauliflower
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt – to taste
- Pepper – to taste
Garlic Herb Sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to prepare for roasting the cauliflower steaks.
- Prepare Cauliflower Steaks: Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and trim the stem. Carefully slice the cauliflower into 1-inch thick steaks.
- Season Steaks: Place the cauliflower steaks on a baking sheet. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Roast: Roast the cauliflower steaks in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking to ensure even browning and tenderness.
- Make Garlic Herb Sauce: In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, lemon juice, and the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Mix well to blend the flavors.
- Serve: Once the cauliflower steaks are roasted, remove them from the oven and drizzle the garlic herb sauce generously over the top. Serve warm.
