Description

Experience a delightful fusion of flavors with this Thai Curry Pizza that combines creamy coconut curry sauce, vibrant veggies, and gooey mozzarella on a crispy artisan crust. Ready in just 30 minutes, this unique pizza offers a perfect blend of Thai-inspired spices and classic pizza comfort.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Curry Sauce

  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons Yellow Thai curry paste

For the Pizza

  • 1 each Artisan pizza dough (homemade or store-bought, at room temperature)
  • 1 each Red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 each Carrot (cut into thin ribbons)
  • 0.5 each Red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 0.25 cup Cilantro (fresh, chopped)
  • 2 each Green onions (sliced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it on the center rack to ensure it heats evenly for a crispier crust.
  2. Prepare the Curry Sauce: In a small bowl, mix the coconut milk and yellow Thai curry paste thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Roll Out Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the artisan pizza dough to your desired thickness, ensuring an even base for toppings.
  4. Assemble Pizza: Spread the prepared coconut curry sauce evenly over the rolled dough. Next, layer the sliced red bell pepper, carrot ribbons, and red onion slices on top, followed by an even sprinkling of shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Bake: Place the pizza on the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the crust turns lightly browned and the cheese has melted and started to bubble.
  6. Cool: Remove the pizza from the oven and transfer it onto a wire rack to cool for a couple of minutes, allowing the crust to set and prevent sogginess.
  7. Serve: Slice the pizza and garnish with fresh green onions and chopped cilantro before serving to add a fresh, aromatic finish.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of Thai curry paste according to your preferred spice level.
  • If you don’t have a pizza stone, use a preheated baking sheet to help achieve a crispy crust.
  • For a vegan variation, substitute mozzarella with a plant-based cheese alternative.
  • To save time, use store-bought pizza dough but allow it to come to room temperature for easier rolling.
