Ingredients
Scale
Strawberry Syrup
- 1 cup (150 g) frozen strawberries, thawed
- â…“ cup (67 g) granulated sugar
- ÂĽ cup (60 ml) water
Frappuccino Mixture
- 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk
- ½ cup (120 g) Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon (12 g) granulated sugar
- 1 ½ tablespoons (12 g) milk powder
- ÂĽ teaspoon (1.25 ml) vanilla extract
- 1 cup (150 g) frozen strawberries
- 1 cup (240 g) ice cubes
Whipped Cream Topping
- ½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberry Syrup: Blend the thawed strawberries, â…“ cup sugar, and ÂĽ cup water together and pour into a saucepan. Heat over medium heat and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally. Let it simmer until slightly thickened to a syrupy consistency, being careful not to burn. Remove from heat and let cool.
- Make the Vanilla Whipped Cream: In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Using a mixer on medium speed, beat until medium peaks form—soft but holding shape. This will be used as a topping for the frappuccino.
- Blend the Frappuccino: In a blender, add whole milk, Greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon sugar, milk powder, ÂĽ teaspoon vanilla extract, frozen strawberries, and ice cubes. Blend on high for about 1 minute until smooth, creamy, and slushy without ice chunks.
- Assemble the Drink: Pour the blended frappuccino mixture into a glass. Drizzle the prepared strawberry syrup generously over the top to add vibrant color and sweet flavor.
- Add Whipped Cream: Spoon the homemade vanilla whipped cream on top of the frappuccino, creating a light and fluffy crown to complement the fruity base.
- Serve Immediately: Serve the Strawberry Cream Frappuccino right away with a straw for the freshest flavor and ideal chilled temperature.
Notes
- Use fresh or frozen strawberries depending on availability; frozen strawberries help maintain the frappuccino’s icy texture.
- Adjust the sugar level based on your sweetness preference.
- For a lighter version, substitute whole milk and heavy cream with low-fat dairy alternatives.
- This recipe does not contain coffee, making it a great option for those avoiding caffeine.
- Serve immediately for the best texture; frappuccino tends to separate if left standing.
