Casserole Layers:
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 (28 oz) bag frozen tater tots
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook Beef: In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Add garlic, cook for 1 minute, then drain any excess grease.
- Mix Ingredients: Stir in cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper. Add mixed vegetables and 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Spread in baking dish.
- Add Tater Tots: Arrange tater tots in a single layer on top. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the tots.
- Bake: Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden and bubbly. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
