Crust
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 1–2 lemons)
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch square baking pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal of the bars after baking.
- Make the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and sugar. Pour in the melted butter and mix thoroughly until crumbs are evenly coated. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form an even crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove and allow to cool.
- Prepare Filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition to incorporate fully. Stir in the flour, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract, mixing until all ingredients are fully combined into a smooth batter.
- Assemble and Bake: Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cooled graham cracker crust and spread evenly. Return to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the center is set and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool and Chill: Allow the lemon cream squares to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to fully set and enhance flavors before slicing into 12 squares.
- Garnish and Serve: Dust the cooled squares with powdered sugar and garnish with fresh lemon slices or additional lemon zest for a beautiful presentation. Serve chilled.
