Sauce & Seasoning
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil: Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat until shimmering to prepare for stir-frying.
- Sauté aromatics: Add minced garlic and ginger to the hot oil and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds, to build flavor.
- Cook beef: Add the thinly sliced beef to the pan and cook, stirring often, until the beef is browned and cooked through, approximately 4-5 minutes.
- Add vegetables: Add the mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots) and stir-fry together with the beef for 3-5 minutes, until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Add sauce: Pour in 3 tablespoons of soy sauce and stir well to coat beef and vegetables evenly, allowing the sauce to heat through.
- Season: Taste and add salt and pepper as needed according to preference.
- Serve: Serve the hot beef stir fry immediately over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
Notes
- For best results, slice the beef thinly against the grain to ensure tenderness.
- Feel free to substitute or add other vegetables like snap peas or mushrooms.
- If you prefer, marinate the beef briefly in soy sauce and ginger before cooking for extra flavor.
- Use vegetable oil or any high smoke point oil suitable for stir-frying.
- Serve with steamed rice, noodles, or cauliflower rice for a low-carb option.
