- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
Others
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Balsamic glaze (optional, for drizzling)
For Serving
- Toasted baguette slices, crackers, or veggies
Instructions
- Prepare the cheeses and garlic: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, and minced garlic. Mix thoroughly until all the cheeses and garlic are evenly distributed.
- Add fresh ingredients: Stir in the diced tomatoes and chopped fresh basil leaves into the cheese mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Heat the dip: Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish and drizzle the olive oil on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish and serve: Once baked, remove the dip from the oven and optionally drizzle balsamic glaze over the top. Garnish with extra fresh basil leaves. Serve warm with toasted baguette slices, crackers, or fresh veggies for dipping.
Notes
- For a smoother dip, let the softened cream cheese come to room temperature before mixing.
- You can substitute fresh mozzarella balls cut into small pieces if shredded mozzarella is not available.
- Baking time may vary depending on your oven. Keep an eye on the dip so it does not brown too much.
- Try adding other fresh herbs like oregano or thyme for a twist in flavor.
- Serve immediately after baking for the best gooey texture.
