Ingredients
Scale
Seafood
- 1 pound crab meat or crab legs
Seasonings & Aromatics
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Prepare the Crab: If using crab legs, steam or bake them until fully heated through, then carefully crack the shells and remove the meat. If using lump crab meat, gently pick through it to remove any leftover shells.
- Melt Butter and Cook Garlic: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the butter and allow it to melt, then add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, stirring frequently, until fragrant but not browned.
- Add Seasonings and Lemon: Stir in the lemon juice, paprika, Old Bay seasoning, black pepper, and salt into the melted butter and garlic mixture, mixing well to combine all the flavors.
- Toss Crab in Sauce: Add the prepared crab meat to the skillet and gently toss it in the seasoned butter sauce, being careful not to break up the delicate meat. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes until the crab is thoroughly warmed.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle fresh chopped parsley over the crab, and serve immediately for optimal freshness and flavor.
Notes
- Use fresh or high-quality canned crab for the best flavor and texture.
