Description
A refreshing and easy-to-make apple mocktail that combines fresh apple juice, sparkling water, and a hint of lemon and cinnamon for a delightful, non-alcoholic beverage perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Mocktail Ingredients
- Fresh apple juice: 1 cup (approximately 240 ml)
- Sparkling water: 1 cup (approximately 240 ml)
- Fresh lemon juice: 1 tablespoon (approximately 15 ml)
- Ground cinnamon: 1/4 teaspoon
- Ice cubes: as needed
- Apple slices: for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Gather Ingredients: Collect all the fresh apple juice, sparkling water, lemon juice, ground cinnamon, ice cubes, and apple slices to have everything ready for the mocktail preparation.
- Prepare Juice (if fresh apples are used): Wash, cut, and juice fresh apples thoroughly. Optionally, strain the juice to remove pulp for a smoother texture.
- Mix Juices: In a mixing jug, combine the fresh apple juice with the fresh lemon juice, stirring gently to blend the flavors without losing the juice’s freshness.
- Add Ice: Fill a tall glass halfway with ice cubes to chill the drink and keep it refreshing.
- Combine and Serve: Pour the apple and lemon juice mixture over the ice, then top with sparkling water to add fizz. Sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon on top and garnish with apple slices if desired. Stir lightly before serving.
Notes
- For a sweeter mocktail, add a teaspoon of honey or simple syrup.
- Chill all ingredients beforehand for a colder, more refreshing drink.
- Ground cinnamon adds warmth; adjust quantity to taste or omit if preferred.
- This mocktail is best served immediately to preserve the sparkling water’s fizz.
- Can be doubled easily for more servings.
