Description

Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs are a deliciously savory snack or appetizer featuring juicy ground beef seasoned with garlic and onion powders, wrapped in flaky biscuit dough, brushed with garlic butter, and topped with Parmesan cheese. These bombs are baked to golden perfection, making them perfect for parties or a comforting treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Beef Filling

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)

Dough & Topping

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits) or homemade dough
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and for easy cleanup.
  2. Cook Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned and no longer pink. Drain any excess grease to keep the bombs from being soggy.
  3. Season Beef: Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and allow the mixture to cool slightly so the dough doesn’t get too soft.
  4. Prepare Dough: Flatten each biscuit into a circle on a clean surface, making sure it’s large enough to hold the filling.
  5. Fill and Seal: Spoon the beef mixture into the center of each biscuit and add some shredded cheese on top. Fold the dough around the filling and pinch the edges tightly to seal the cheeseburger bombs.
  6. Arrange and Brush: Place the sealed bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter with minced garlic, then brush this garlic butter generously over each bomb for added flavor and a golden finish.
  7. Add Parmesan: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly on top of each garlic butter-coated bomb to create a savory crust as they bake.
  8. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes or until the biscuit dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Garnish and Serve: Remove from oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm to enjoy the melty, cheesy centers and crispy garlic crust.

Notes

  • For best results, allow the beef mixture to cool slightly before filling the dough to prevent it from becoming too soft or sticky.
  • You can substitute cheddar with mozzarella or pepper jack cheese for a different flavor profile.
  • If using homemade dough, ensure it is chilled to work with easily.
  • Make sure to seal edges well to prevent the filling from leaking during baking.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven to retain crispiness.
