Description

This Refreshing Guava White Tea Lemonade is a delightful and easy-to-make summer beverage combining the delicate flavor of white tea with the tropical sweetness of guava juice and the zesty touch of fresh lemon. Lightly sweetened with honey and served chilled, it’s a perfect thirst-quencher for hot days.

Ingredients

Scale

Tea Base

  • 0.5 cup hot water
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
  • 1 bag white tea
  • 0.5 cup ice cubes (plus more for serving)

Juice Mix

  • 1 cup guava juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

Instructions

  1. Dissolve Honey and Steep Tea: In a large measuring cup, dissolve 1 teaspoon honey (if using) in 0.5 cup of hot water by stirring until fully melted. Then add 1 bag of white tea and steep for 10 minutes to extract the delicate flavors.
  2. Chill the Tea: After steeping, add 0.5 cup of ice cubes to the tea mixture to cool it down rapidly. Allow this chilled infusion to sit for another 10 minutes to enhance the flavor while cooling.
  3. Combine Juices: Stir in 1 cup of guava juice and 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice into the chilled tea. Mix gently to blend all the sweet and tangy flavors evenly.
  4. Serve: Fill one large glass or two smaller glasses with fresh ice cubes. Pour the guava white tea lemonade over the ice. Serve immediately for a refreshing and invigorating summer drink.

Notes

  • Honey is optional; you can sweeten to taste or omit altogether for a less sweet beverage.
  • Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the best flavor impact.
  • For a more intense tea flavor, steep the tea bag longer before chilling.
  • Adjust ice quantity depending on preferred coldness and dilution.
  • This drink can be made ahead and kept chilled for up to 4 hours, but fresh is best.
