Instructions
- Prepare the Italian Meringue: Follow your preferred vegan Italian meringue recipe to make about one-third of a batch for topping. Set aside once ready.
- Thaw the Strawberries: Remove the frozen strawberries from the freezer and let them thaw slightly at room temperature for 10-15 minutes to make blending easier.
- Blend the Slushie: Place the thawed strawberries into a high-speed blender along with half of the kombucha or chosen liquid. Blend for 2-3 minutes until smooth, then gradually add the remaining kombucha as needed to achieve your desired consistency.
- Serve: Pour into serving glasses immediately. Optionally, top with the prepared vegan Italian meringue for added texture and flavor, or enjoy plain.
