Ingredients
Scale
Meat Sauce
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1/2 pcs Yellow Onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp Garlic, minced
- 24 ounces Pasta Sauce
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
Spaghetti and Alfredo Sauce
- 1 pound Spaghetti Noodles
- 1 stick Butter (4 tablespoons)
- 2 cups Heavy Cream
- 1 pinch Pepper, to taste
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
Topping
- 2 cups Mozzarella, shredded
- 1 tbsp Fresh Chopped Parsley, optional
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to get ready for baking.
- Cook Meat Sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, brown the ground beef along with the chopped onion and minced garlic until the onion is translucent and the beef is fully cooked. Drain excess grease, then return the meat to the pan.
- Add Sauce and Seasoning: Stir in the pasta sauce and Italian seasoning with the cooked beef mixture. Set aside on low heat to keep warm.
- Cook Spaghetti: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti noodles until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain well.
- Prepare Alfredo Sauce: In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the heavy cream, garlic powder, and a pinch of pepper, then let it simmer gently for a few minutes. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and melted.
- Combine Spaghetti and Alfredo: Mix the cooked spaghetti noodles thoroughly with the Alfredo sauce to coat evenly. Transfer this creamy spaghetti mixture into a baking dish.
- Assemble and Bake: Layer the prepared meat sauce evenly over the spaghetti in the baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and optionally garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- For best results, ensure spaghetti is cooked al dente to prevent mushiness after baking.
- Drain excess grease from beef carefully to avoid a greasy final dish.
- You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter sauce, but it may be less rich.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
- Fresh parsley adds a nice color and fresh flavor but is optional.
