Ingredients
Scale
Sliders
- 1 package (12-count) Hawaiian sweet rolls (or any dinner rolls)
- 2 cups prepared stuffing
- ½ pound cooked turkey breast (shredded or thinly sliced)
- 1 cup jellied cranberry sauce
- 8 slices Mozzarella cheese
Topping Glaze
- 6 Tablespoons salted butter (melted)
- ½ Tablespoon honey mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ Tablespoon dried minced onion
Garnish
- ½ teaspoon poppy seeds
- 2 teaspoons fresh minced chives
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare Baking Dish. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise and place the bottom halves cut side up in the dish, creating the slider base.
- Layer the Fillings. Evenly spread the prepared stuffing over the bottom roll halves. Then layer the shredded or thinly sliced cooked turkey breast over the stuffing. Place the mozzarella slices over the turkey and spread the jellied cranberry sauce evenly on top of the cheese. Finally, cover the assembled layers with the top halves of the rolls.
- Make and Brush the Glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted salted butter, honey mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and dried minced onion until well combined. Generously brush this flavorful mixture over the tops of the slider rolls for a beautiful glaze and added flavor.
- Bake Covered. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the sliders are heated through and the cheese has melted completely.
- Finish Baking and Garnish. Remove the foil and bake the sliders uncovered for an additional 2 to 3 minutes to allow the tops to brown slightly—watch carefully to avoid burning. Once done, remove from the oven and sprinkle the sliders with poppy seeds and fresh minced chives. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- Use leftover turkey and stuffing for an easy and quick assembly.
- Hawaiian rolls provide sweetness, but any soft dinner roll will work.
- For extra flavor, add a slice of sharp cheddar instead of mozzarella.
- Wrap leftovers tightly and refrigerate; reheat covered in a low oven to maintain moisture.
- Adjust cooking time slightly depending on your oven and slider thickness.
